Campus / Parent Portal has been experiencing high volumes of traffic creating brief outages


The Campus / Parent Portal has been experiencing high volumes of traffic creating brief outages.  If you are unable to view your child’s schedule before the start of school tomorrow the students should proceed to the courtyard.  In the courtyard there will be posted signs of each students 1st period class.  The students 1st period teacher will provide them with printed schedules. 

Schedule Change Procedures:

If you have any of these errors (missing class, duplicate class, incorrect grade level class) on your schedule, you must fill out a Schedule Change Request Form located in the Counseling Office.  

We will not change any elective courses at this time.  Students must attend class for the first day before requesting a change.  Elective change requests are not guaranteed and will only be considered if space is available.  No email or phone messages will be honored.  Schedule change request forms can be found in the Counseling Office.  All forms must be signed by a parent.  Requests due to friends in other classes or specific teacher requests will not be considered.

Linked below are our Grade Level Supply lists of recommended supplies should you want to complete your shopping early. We greatly appreciate students having these materials/items to start the school year. Any students who cannot have these materials will be provided the required materials (may not be all items on list). Your voluntary donation of these supplies is greatly appreciated in these tough budgetary times.

Dear Jaguar Community:


Happy summer Jaguars! We wish all of our families and students a restful, enjoyable, and safe summer break. Our Jaguar staff will be resting and preparing for an awesome 2015-16 school year! As August approaches (it will be here before you know it), please be aware of the upcoming important dates:


SRVUSD Parent Portal Update:  August 6th - August 25th
Each fall, San Ramon Valley Unified parents are asked to complete an online “Annual Update” to verify household and emergency contact information and complete annual release acknowledgement and permission requirements.  Iron Horse families are being asked to complete this update between the dates of August 6th -25th


Iron Horse Online Registration:  August 10th - August 20th

Registration at Iron Horse is a separate process from the District Parent Portal Annual Update.  IH Registration is completely online this year! There will NOT be a walk-thru process.  Distribution of PE clothes, binder reminders, and PE locks will occur after the start of school.  School photos will be taken on Wednesday, August 26th.


Welcome Coffee/Registration Help:  August 20th 7:30am-10:30am Library

PTA will be hosting a Welcome Coffee to greet parents for the new school year.  This is a great opportunity for incoming 6th grade parents to meet some of Iron Horse’s fabulous staff and teachers, Ed Fund and PTA representatives.  Assistance will be available for those who need help completing their Iron Horse Online Registration and for those families who want to pay their donations by check.


Jaguar Camp for Incoming 6th graders & New Students - August 20th 9:00am-12:00pm MPR
Calling all incoming 6th grade students and new students to Iron Horse… Join us for a fun day to meet up with old friends and make new ones at your new school!  You’ll have an opportunity to take a tour of the campus, participate in field games, and have lunch with your classmates.  6th grade students will receive their class schedules at the end of camp.

NEW STUDENT Enrollment for the 2015-16 School Year:

Enrollment for the 2015-16 School Year:

**If your child is currently a 5th grader at Bollinger Canyon, Golden View, Montevideo or Twin Creeks Elementary School, you do not need to enroll at Iron Horse.  These elementary schools are feeder schools to Iron Horse so your child is automatically in our 2015-16 enrollment.  You will need to do the annual update that the district sends out over the summer.  This is to update your contact information in the districts database. 

  •          Enrollment for the 2015-16 school year opens on March 1, 2015
  •          To enroll, log-on to the district website and complete the on-line application (    
  •          After completing the on-line application, please make an appointment with Iron Horse and bring your required documents to your scheduled appointment. Click here to schedule your appointment      

** Please note that if you are enrolling for the current school year (2014-15) call the counseling office at (925) 790-2580 to make an immediate appointment to enroll. 



Paperwork required at your scheduled appointment:

1.  Print out of your on-line application/summary

2.  Students original birth certificate OR passport

3.  Students immunization records from a physician

4.  Parent / guardians original & current picture ID (Driver’s license, CA issued ID, passport, military ID)

5.     Original mortgage statement, escrow closing papers indicating sale has already closed, grant deed, property tax bill OR lease/rental agreement which states the property address, names of occupants living there (students name must appear) and signed by both parties (no copies accepted)

6.    AND a current PG&E or water bill with name and address listed (within 45 days for new home purchases/rentals)
